Bespoke jewellery, designed and made in Birmingham

A bespoke piece is not a catalogue item with your initials on it. It is designed around one person, one occasion or one stone, and it is made by hand in the Jewellery Quarter — the same square mile the British trade has worked from since the 1700s.

We take on full commissions in 18k yellow, white and rose gold and in platinum: engagement rings, pendants, name and picture pendants, diamond-set bracelets, and reworks of inherited pieces that are no longer worn as they stand.

How a commission works

Phase one — the conversation

You get in touch with what you have in mind. That can be a detailed brief or a vague idea. We then sit down with you, in person or remotely, to talk through the design, your preferences and your budget, and to explain how the pricing works before you commit to anything.

Phase two — design

A £100 design deposit starts the work. This covers designing and planning the piece. We develop the concept with you through sketches, 3D CAD renderings, and detailed decisions on gemstones and metals. You can request amendments, and we will keep iterating until you are happy and approve the final design.

Phase three — pre-production

Before production begins we take a non-refundable payment of 50% of the final price. This secures the materials and the craftsmanship. Timelines vary with complexity — perfection is not rushed — but from this point the process takes approximately three working weeks on average.

Phase four — production

Our craftsmen make the piece to the approved design. You are kept informed throughout, and we will share photographs and progress updates along the way.

Phase five — completion

We contact you once the piece is ready. The remaining 50% is settled before collection. You can collect from us in the Jewellery Quarter or arrange delivery, and we will talk you through caring for and maintaining the piece. If you are collecting in person, bring a camera — most people want to.

What we have made

Recent commissions have included 2.5ct radiant cut engagement rings with hidden halos, three-row diamond picture pendants at 35mm and 2.5ct, and personalised name pendants in gold and platinum.
